King Von

KingKing Von King Von, whose real persona was Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was born on August 9 on 1994, in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Taesha. There were three brothers and sisters from his mother. He was the father of six half-siblings. Since his father was spending so long in prison, Bennett was mostly taken by his mother. At the age of 11, Bennett was at the time his dad was shot down and murdered. In the age of 16, Bennett did his first stint in jail in what was but the start of many encounters with law enforcement. Afterward, he earned some college credits from South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. In an effort to rehabilitate himself due to legal trouble, Bennett began pursuing his profession in the field of music. He collaborated regularly with his fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the only studio album Von released during his lifetime the posthumous album "What it Means to Be King" was released posthumously in March of 2022.
