Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. Her acting debut came in the year 1996 with her debut in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. The struggle she had to get a part in Starship Troopers, a film which featured only minor characters, was extremely intense. It was difficult for her to transition between modeling and acting because the models werent usually considered to be good actors and tended to be assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy did not give up. Her first major role came in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. The 2005 romance comedy Just Friends, which also had Ryan Reynolds, saw her play larger role. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years after her film just Friends debuted. Amy was in several big movies within the Crank trilogy with Jason Statham.
