Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director, producer, playwright and educator at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's first memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at working. When she was a kid, she appeared in several commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto, Ontario, for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade which followed, she made the move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna has recently converted to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted on CNN's list of the top favorite Television Couples and was named the top Television Couple of 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. The show's success led to Anna amassing a significant audience on social networks.
